About
Hi. I'm Britney. I'm seventeen this year.
A Malaysian, a student in Sri Garden, and an Interactor.
I appreciate my life and can never stop admiring the beauty of life.
No doubt there might be a few ups and downs in my life, I could never ask for a more amazing family and home.
I have a passion for photography and I know that there's still a lot of things for me to learn. I honestly agree that 'Owning a camera doesn't make you a photographer, it makes you a camera owner'. Photography allows me to witness beauty seen only through a lens, allows me to express my emotions through images. It is a way to freeze moments, to capture the memories and that's what I love about photography. I'm currently using a Canon EOS500D, a standard kit lens, a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 and a Nissin Di622 Digital Flash. This is definitely going to be the start, I'm saving up for a new lens, and I am keen to learn more. Oh. and not forgetting, my little babies, my Fujifilm Instax Mini 7s and my Diana Mini! All pictures in this blog are taken by yours truly unless stated. Please do not hesitate to pass me some advice or constructive criticism on the shots I have taken.
Travelling is definitely another thing that I absolutely love. Although I've not been to so many parts of the world, this love for travelling makes me want to see the world. I find that travelling is a process of learning. There's so much about this world that is so amazing, so beautiful, and I hope that in the near future, I would get the chance to experience them.
And blogging. I started off as a mere 12-year-old kid, trying to fit in with the ever-changing society. At that time, everyone seemed to be cool if they had a blog. Being a 12-year-old, I created a blog but deleted it shortly after that, and then, a year later, I created another blog, and have been blogging ever since. I have been blogging on that blog for almost about three years and I figured that I needed a new space, thus, britneykua.com was created.
There's so much more to who and what I am, but I'll leave that to you.
