This shall be my official first post for the year 2012 and the first post from college.

Landed safely in the UK on the 5th of January and have been busy with activities and settling in.
Classes begin tomorrow and I'm a little nervous.

It's beautiful here and I'm excited for better things to come in the near future.

Hello, the Raya break has just begun.
A week of serious mugging, here we go!
Trials are in less than three weeks and I've got to ace the test this time, or I'll be in big big trouble.

Annnnnnnyways, this week has been pretty interesting.

Made a 'Take time to....' jar for a friend and myself (couldn't resist because it was just toooooooo pretty)

Birthday week!

A week of the holidays has gone by and in a few more days, we're back to school.
Not going to talk about how much I dread the coming Monday, but am just gonna blog a little about what I've been up to this week.
First thing I should say is, I have not touched any books at all. Doomed!

Spent most of last week out, to birthday parties and also, back to school for Biology classes.
Went to Putri's birthday dinner, Angela's birthday dinner and Dev's birthday celebration.

Putri had her birthday dinner at Bedroom @ Pavilion.
Pretty awesome night!

Angela's birthday dinner was at Caffeinees in Kampung Pandan.
Was a really nice dinner but I didn't bring my camera.

Dev celebrated her 17th in Sunway Lagoon!
Was my first time there, definitely enjoyed myself.
Again, I didn't bring my camera so there are not many pictures.

So, I guess, that's pretty much it.
I had a swell time at all three celebrations and I hope the girls enjoyed them too!

Sri Garden's I.U Night 2011

Last night was....one word. Amazing!

Sri Garden's International Understanding Night this year was brought to you by non other than the Interact and Youthact Club of Sri Garden.

The theme this year was, 'Hollywood: Lights, Camera, Action!'.

After weeks of preparation, the night had finally arrived.

Tickets were selling like hotcakes and I was a little worried about whether or not we could put up a good show for 450 people.

Our deco team was lead by Leon Lee, Devyani VJ and Robin. Beautiful backdrop and sparkly 'Now Showing' posters along the two walls on the side of our hall.

Runway was made by our teacher advisor, Mr. Suntharaj and some of the school's maintenance staff.

Lighting was done by Nick and colleague from Headhunter Productions (www.headhunterasia.com).

Let's relive the night of 22nd April 2011!

We begun the show with the usual, National Anthem and Interact song, roll call and speeches.

Then, we had a short video to introduce our hosts for the night, Surayyn and Wesley 'Bond'!

Followed by the grand opening, where we had the V.I.Ps complete our backdrop by sticking the stand of a vintage studio camera on the backdrop.

The show started off with a sizzling Burlesque-themed dance performance by our three dancers, Aisha, Angela and Joie, followed by a coordinated James Bond-themed hip hop dance!

Next, we had a singing performance, a duet of Born This Way by Surayyn and Sarah and 2 medleys by Siau (Nicholas), Siang Gin, Sarah, Shanice, Sook Cheng and Surayyn, hence, the S-sses!

After that was the entertaining video presentation by Weng Kok Wil productions. A lot of effort put into that one, I can say! Loved the Sherlock Holmes part!
The Grand Opening of the Exhibition was next on the agenda and refreshments were served. How was the Subway, everyone?
After the short break, everyone got back into the hall and the show continued.We had a band performance by the Airheads, with Sarah and Nick as their vocalists instead of Alina due to a sore throat and a cold! They did 'Just The Way You Are' and 'Baby' last night!

I'm not even sure how many of you guys still visit this place and read my blog posts.

I'm taking a break for a while, just till April is over.

April will be so busy, I don't think I'd have time to breathe!

February and March have been great, I enjoyed myself thoroughly.

April is almost here, just something else to remind me that the end of high school is coming.

I can't believe how time flies these days!

I wanted to blog about something today but I just don't feel like doing it anymore.

Something about today just isn't right. I'm feeling unusually down today. Maybe it's the rain. Maybe it's me listening to Biffy Clyro's 'Many of Horror (When We Collide)'.

I don't know.

Unknown (Film)

Spent the day at Pavilion with Putri yesterday.

We went for a movie marathon (sorta....), bought tickets for two movies - Unknown and Drive Angry.

Unknown was really really good, and Drive Angry was the total opposite.

We couldn't take it so we just walked out of the theater! (First experience :P)

Anyways, Unknown was a great movie!

You guys should watch it the next time you decide to go to the movies.

Starring Liam Neeson, Diane Kruger, January Jones, Aidan Quinn, Bruno Ganz and Frank Langella, this film will have you holding onto your seats from all the suspense!

Synopsis (sourced from IMDb):

A man awakens from a coma, only to discover that someone has taken on his identity and that no one, (not even his wife), believes him. With the help of a young woman, he sets out to prove who he is.

It may sound like it has a simple storyline from that synopsis, but trust me, it's so much more than the usual action, drama or mystery flicks! I wish I could say what happened but it's only gonna spoil it for you.

If you're planning on watching it, do NOT look at any summary or synopsis of the movie.
The spoiler would totally change the movie experience.

Tell me if you do watch it and whether you've enjoyed it :)
I enjoyed it thoroughly.. In my opinion, I think that the plot was played very well, as it kept me in suspense, I just kept wanting to watch more and more to find out how it's going to end!
And, for some reason, like 'Taken' (an older movie starring Liam Neeson as well), I really love this movie!
I'm probably gonna buy the DVD to watch it again and again.

Hi guys!
It's been awhile...
Anyways, this is officially my 100th blog post on britneykua.com!
So, the past few weeks have been pretty darn awesome, with everything fast-paced!

We have our assessments for the whole of next week and then we're off for a one-week break.
FINALLY, A BREAK! :)

Still recovering from post-utterlyamazingshowcase depression though.. :/

Made tons of new friends because of The Wanted and we just never get enough of talking about those boys!

We'd just go on blabbering about the boys via Twitter :)

We ended up waiting for 4 hours just to find out that they have interviews going on and on and on. It must've been a very tiring day for them!
So, we just left them a note and some Dairy Milk chocolate (they love it!) with one of the people from Universal Music Malaysia.

Gahhhhhh, I miss them so much!
I miss the #BARRICADEGANG too!

In case you're wondering, the #BARRICADEGANG refers to the group of girls who were in the front row during the showcase.
There were no barriers put up by Laundry, so we became the barricade between the boys and the many many many screaming, squealing and pushing fans!

It's actually just swaying grass with a sky that changes depending on the time. I love the 'sky' in the early morning and in the evening! In this pic, it was 6.33pm and that's how it looked like.. So purdy :)

What? The Wanted LIVE in KL!

When? Sunday, 20th February 2011!

Where? Laser tag at Galactic Laser, Mid Valley and showcase at Laundry Bar, The Curve!

I honestly don't know where to start!

It was such an amazing day and I know I have to blog about it!

Let's just begin with this..

So, how did I become a hardcore fan of The Wanted?

It began with a boring boring day for me at home, and I decided to look for new songs to listen, so I checked out UK's Top Charts and I found their song on it!

I listened to it and I'm like oooh okay, nice, great tunes, good looking boys.. searched up their songs to listen... But I didn't become a crazy fan yet!

Fast forward to Monday, 7th February (if I'm not mistaken)!

I was scrolling through Twitter and I saw someone's tweet saying that The Wanted's coming to Malaysia. I got really really excited and when I got home, I tweeted all 5 of them asking whether they're really coming and guess what! Jay replied me! It was my first tweet to them and I got replied to :')

Coincidentally, that day in school, I was telling Siti how I've had no celebrities reply to me on Twitter before!

That's when it all started.. The Wanted fever!

Believe me, my classmates and my add math teacher (especially him!) got so annoyed at us blabbering about the boys over and over and over again for the whole two weeks!

Being so crazy about them coming here, we couldn't miss out on the chance to watch them live in KL, so we practically joined almost every competition there was to win the passes.

I joined the Advertlets competition on Facebook, tried getting passes from Hitz.fm, sent in so many entries for the Hitz.fm online goodies competition and signed up on Universal Music Malaysia's website.

Successfully got passes from Advertlets, Hitz.fm and Universal Music Malaysia!

Prior to Sunday, we prepared T-Shirts (our special The Wanted tees), Dev was the one who painted all our shirts. Kudos to her awesome skills!

Meanwhile, I prepared a package for the boys from us. It consisted of some packs of Skittles (Little Skittles! heeheee), some chocolates, and a little package (a package inside a package!) full of Happy Pills!
These 'Happy Pills' are basically cute pill capsules with a smiley face printed on it. Encased in it were messages from the fans (those who messaged me/TWMalaysia on Twitter), a few quotes, and a couple of riddles!

Throughout the weeks until the day it happened, I've managed to get to know a bunch of new friends via Twitter and Facebook! All of them are so nice and friendly :)
I swear, my tweets were about The Wanted 80% of the time!

On that Sunday itself, we (Dev, Siti and I) gathered at my place in the morning, at about 9AM.

We left for Mid Valley feeling extremely excited - well, who wouldn't? - for everything, laser tag and the showcase!

We arrived really early and walked around for a bit before getting some lunch and meeting Nadia! She's a fan of the boys too, whom we got to know via Twitter! She was actually the first TW fan that we contacted via our TWMalaysia Twitter account :)

All of us were separated into different teams based on how we got our passes, whether it was from Hitz.fm or Advertlets or Hitz.tv...

And each team played an 8-minute game of laser tag against another team and the boys!

It was indeed, an amazing first experience and the fact that we managed to talk to the boys and hug them in the briefing room made the experience so much more personal.

Though we lost to the boys pretty badly (I can't deny, they were really good!) , we enjoyed ourselves so much!

Anyways, I'll spare you all the lengthy details but here are some pictures instead!

After the laser tag experience with all the TWFanmily and organisers and sponsors, we headed to Laundry Bar, The Curve for the showcase!

Here comes the strange story of how we got to be in front. Those of you who were cursing 'Damn those girls! Got to stand right in front!', read on to find out what happened.

The showcase pass!

So, when we arrived, there was already a long queue of about 20-30 people on the right side of the entrance to the showcase area. I was supposed to collect my passes from Hitz.fm and Advertlets and couldn't find a registration booth anywhere, so I went to ask for some information from a man who looked like he was in charge. He was on the left side of the entrance, and I walked over there to ask him about the stuff.

I found out that he was from Universal Music Malaysia (UMM) and he told me to wait for a little while cause they were setting up the booths! All of a sudden, not too sure why too, the queue from the other side just moved over to our side to line up behind us! That explains how we got in front of the line and managed to secure places right in front of the stage..

So, yeah.. After I got my passes, I got back in the line and soon they opened the doors and we entered and got straight to the front row! Am so thankful for that and that really just made the showcase even more unbelievably amazing for my friends and I.

The boys started off their 6 song set with Lose My Mind, followed by Say It On The Radio, Heart Vacancy, their cover of Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls, Behind Bars, and they ended the showcase with All Time Low.
I must say, the boys did so well and sang beautifully that night. I loved all the songs they sang especially that cover of Iris. It might not be their original song, but that song has always had a special place in my heart and when I first heard their cover of Iris on Youtube, it was heartwarming. When the boys introduced the song, I was so excited that I didn't hear what Max said when he pointed to me and said something. Did any of you guys hear it?(update: I watched that part countless times and still cannot hear what he said! Dev told me she heard "This song is for her" when he pointed at me.. But I'm still not sure hahaha!)Needless to say, I shed some tears as they sang that song! It would be embarrassing if they only remembered me as the 'weird girl who cried when we sang Iris'!

It was an amazing showcase for all of us!
I know some of us got serenaded by the boys as they held our hands and sang to us while looking us directly in the eye, some of us had our hands kissed by them! My mummy got a hi-5 from Max! But the most amazing thing happened.. At the end of their last song, All Time Low, Jay just came to the crowd, bent down, pulled my friends head towards his and kissed her! Lucky girl!

Had a nice dinner with my friends at Italiannies (right beside Laundry Bar) and we saw Max while on the way to the restaurant. Said 'Hi Max!' and got a 'Hey babe' and a wink back! :p Went home after dinner and talked about what happened throughout the day all the way back home.
It was definitely a night to remember and it could not have happened without these people. I would like to thank these people:

My mummy, for she was the one who took us to Mid Valley and from Mid Valley to The Curve, and back home. Without her, we wouldn't have been able to experience this!
Universal Music Malaysia, Hitz.fm, Advertlets, Galactic Laser and Laundry Bar, for bringing the boys here and making it possible for me to have played laser tag with them and enjoyed their amazing showcase.
The interviewers who interviewed us, especially Miss Vikneswari, who actually spent part of her short 15-minute interview with the boys to send them a message from us and who also printed out a picture of us and gave it to them. To Miss Felicia Chin, who had also asked us for some questions that we'd like to ask the boys.
EVERYONE who had liked my comment on Facebook for the Advertlets competition. Without you guys' 'likes', I couldn't have gotten this golden opportunity! Thank you so much!

And lastly, Tom, Jay, Max, Siva and Nathan themselves! Thank you for coming to Malaysia. It was an unforgettable weekend with all five of you and the rest of the Malaysian TWFanmily. Not only have I had my dream become a reality, I've also had the chance to get to know so many new friends through The Wanted. I still think that it is amazing that you guys are so friendly and never fail to communicate with your TWFanmily.

That Sunday was and will always be one memory I'd treasure so much!

Absolutely cannot wait! Although we don't even know the results of the competition yet.. I can't wait for their arrival :p

Anyways, I haven't been updating much, yeah yeah, school.. The usual.
Well, we just had our Interact's Valentine's Day sale today and thank god it's done with!
It was very tiring but in the end, we had fun and I'm glad this project made us a little closer to one another.

So, one event is over.. Now, Friday will be the opening of the 8th HHS-SG Cultural and Educational Exchange Programme.

Hate the sound that goodbyes make

It's not surprising but, yes.. the CNY break is over. Oh, the thought of school starting again in another few hours is horrid.... HORRID. Just a few more days to rest, please? Pretty please?
That's never going to happen.
Let's not talk about school.So, how was your Chinese New Year?

Mine was the usual cozy CNY atmosphere with my family around. The reunion dinner, having relatives over, an addition to the family (baby Melanie!), endless chatter, red packets, mandarins, lots and lots of cookies, staying up late, early morning prayers, hopping from one house to another, hampers full of lovely goodies.. Once again, an endless list.
I sure am gonna miss all this.One upsetting part about this year's CNY is the fact that I would not have the chance to experience this anymore beginning next year.In all honesty, I'm not so much excited as I am afraid of the future and what it'll be like when I'm miles and miles away from my family.
Oh of course, I'm excited for the experience, the new friends, and all the things I'll learn. But when everyone starts talking about how time flies, how it only felt like yesterday that we all celebrated CNY together...It gets a little scary thinking about how time has passed and that we're actually growing up. Ahh, these feelings will never cease to haunt me until the year is over.
The new year has begun;Happy Chinese New Year, everyone! May the year be a year full of joy and prosperity :)

January's gone?!

It's already the 31st, the last day of January! Can't believe a month just flew by.
Anywaaaaaays, spent the whole of today at home after a tiring weekend out with some friends.

Darius had his friend over today for a play day, and then later in the afternoon, our cousin dropped by!

A Nerf war with three screaming kiddos. Oh, y'know, just the usual.

Spent the rest of the afternoon helping my mum prepare some stuff for CNY.

Oh, yeah.... Ended up with these.I don't know why this is happening (maybe because the skin on my hands and fingers are a little sensitive) but I've been getting those bits of skin peeling off below my nail kinda thing. You know, those that hurt when you tug on it and especially, in my case, if I run my fingers through my hair!
So, what should I do tomorrow? Homework? Re-organise my shelf? Go out to get some photos printed? Catch a movie ('The King's Speech' is next on my movies-to-watch list!)? Cook something? Maybe all of that :P
Maybe not, I will probably end up not doing even one of those things!

It's finally here! The holidays :)

Gosh, I'm so excited for all the things coming up soon!

School has been busybusybusy and so tiring!

But it's been an extremely entertaining few days with the jokers of 5sc1.

These kittens were frolicking around my garden last week and Darius and I would try to track them down once in a while.One day, I told him that maybe they've found somewhere else to play and suddenly he says 'No! There they are.. I found them!', pointing to the wall.

Can you believe it? It's already the third week of school.We're already registering for SPM and in no time, we'd be out of the school!
School's been the usual hectic environment in the first month that we've gotten so accustomed to after years and years of schooling.With the SGI starting, countless problems pop up every now and then when we're preparing for any event! Oh, well. Soon, everything will be fine again.

I sit in class beside these two girls who make my day, almost everyday!

Class has been pretty alright.
Most of the same friends I see in 5sc1, but a few have been shifted to other classes.
And 2 additions to the family. Hope they are fitting in just nicely! :)

As usual, the 5sc1 kids up to their old antics!
Irritating the teachers by any way possible.
It started with a banging on the window and a shrill, high-pitched voice saying, "Help, help!", as if someone was out there.
It wasn't convincing enough, so a few of them decided to actually paste some paper cut-outs on the window, making a silhouette of hands and a head!

Oh, just one of the many hilarious episodes that managed to be captured!

The weather in the past few weeks has been miserable.
Chinese New Year is just around the corner, and one of the things I remember most about Chinese New Year is that it would be blazing hot at this time of the year. It was raining almost every day of last week but it's getting sunnier this week!
I like rainy days- oh, the rainy days spent being curled up in my fluffiest comforter reading a good book or simply, just thinking. But, I like sunny days too- nothing beats sitting outside when it's sunny and windy!
Sometimes I just can't pick my favourite. But for now, I'd like sunny days :)

Anyways, I'm here updating cause tomorrow's a public holiday.

Happy Thaipusam (did I get it right?) to all those who are celebrating it tomorrow!

Today's the 1st of January 2011.

As short as it may seem, 2010 was a great, great year.

An amazing year with great company and great events!

I'm really looking forward to what 2011 has in store for all of us.

This will be our last year of high school.. We're seniors, baby!

I never thought this day would come.. When we'd be the oldest students in school and we'd be thinking about college and we'd be seventeen.

May 2011 be filled with more exciting things, greater achievements and more memories for all of us.

Oh & of course, the only grieving thought is that SPM will be at the very end of the year.

Anyways, school will reopen on Monday (that's really fast!)

I'm pumped, but I still feel that I haven't had enough of the holidays..

Once school begins, I just know it, this blog will be pretty much dead, maybe only updated... once a week?

O HAI.

I actually opened this page like 6 hours ago, uploaded some pics and then went down for dinner and to watch the Malaysia VS. Indonesia match.

Then, helped out with making some CNY biscuits and now I'm back.

Short update!

Anyways, today was a day well spent :)

Took Darius out today to watch a movie. Initially wanted to watch Gulliver's Travel but the tickets were sold out so we caught Rapunzel instead.

To those who've watched it, my favourite scene was the one where they released the lanterns for the lost princess!

Today, Darius claimed it as his 'day' out, giving me only ONE minute in every shop I wanted to visit.

Diva was having it's 'Nothing over RM21' sale!

Gosh, kids.

& He also claims that I have a crummy, old phone while my sister has a brilliant phone (we use the same phone) just because I wouldn't let him play this game on my phone!

Oh, here I go again, missing out on the tasks. But guess what? This will be the last few tasks of the 30 Days About Myself challenge that I will be doing.
Day 26 – What you think about your friendsI think that they are extremely entertaining, kind, nice and caring people I'd like very much to keep in contact with even after we leave high school.

Day 27 – Why are you doing this 30 day challenge

Well, the question is 'Why did I start doing this 30 day challenge'.
There was one period during my holidays where I did almost nothing interesting at home and spent hours and hours on the computer.
So, I thought, what better way to spend my time than by doing this 30 Day Challenge.

Another reason is my failed 365 Days challenge which I regret ever starting because I didn't even get through half of it :/

Oh, & also, I'd like to see how this 30-day challenge changes me.

Day 28 – A picture of you last year and now, how have you changed since then?

The only place I can think of getting these pictures is Facebook.

That's because my laptop has suffered numerous reformatting and tons of my documents, pictures, music has been erased ever since.

Okay, I know that picture from this year isn't exactly now, but it's a pretty picture!
And everyone else looks pretty in this picture.
So.... I don't really know. Apart from the overly straight hair (result of hair straightening right before the trip), I guess... the only subtle differences are that my hair is more curly (result of not straightening for a year & I think I like it better wavy than straight) now and recently, my skin's been in a not too good condition (what blasphemy is this! Only a few more days till school and a breakout decides to appear).

Day 29 – In this past month, what have you learned

One of the biggest things I've learnt this month is to be more appreciative of what I have now.

Spending a week at my aunt's in Malacca taught me a lot and made me realise that I have so much here, in KL, in my home, with my family.

I re-learnt the art of making kuih kapit :)

And I've learnt that we're never really capable of knowing someone else inside out when we don't know ourselves.

Day 30 – Who are you?

This is probably the toughest question of the whole challenge.

29 days, 29 questions and now, the final one.

16 years and counting, I've never really thought of this.

Who am I?

Teenager? Student? Malaysian? Blogger? Interactor?

I'm probably not in the right state of mind to answer this question (watching The Big Bang Theory & is craving to play Sims3 after blogging).
So, all I shall say is, this is my blog, one of the only places you will really get to know me, so continue being a reader and you'll eventually find out :)

This is, by far, my favourite bag! Never regretted the day I bought it. Bought in Fahrenheit 88 :)

Liese Juicy Shower - A moisturising hair mist. I really really like it because it works pretty well and it leaves a sweet berry scent on your hair! This is the mini pocket version, whereas the original is in a bigger bottle and contains 200ml of it.
Apple scented hand cream - Why do I bring this around? Because of the one time I had very very very dry skin due to the usage of strong antibacterial soap.
Body Shop's Raspberry Born Lippy lip balm - Absolutely love this product!
Wayfarer
Some wet wipes - And when I don't have wet wipes, packet tissues.
A pen - Always good to have one around.
A comb - 'Nuff said.

Long absence yet again.
Prom was cool, but I had to leave early.
Today, was just a pretty relaxing day, chilling at home, helping my mummy make some seaweed crisps thingys (I don't know what to call them. They're like seaweed wrapped in spring roll wrappers and deep fried.), getting some groceries for dinner.

Hello helloooooo! Feels extremely good to be back home after a week away.
Just to sum it up, I was in Malacca, in my aunt's house, making kuih kapit for CNY.5 days, 200 bottles of kuih kapit, folding 10,000 pieces of piping hot biscuits and extreme satisfaction with pretty biscuits. I didn't bring my camera there though, so no pictures :/
Getting so wordyyyyyyyyyyyy I'm gonna end this post and catch up with my 30DAM! :)

My blog posts have been looking pretty dull these days-all words, words and words.

And all the posts are on the 30 Days About Myself project.

Anyways, this post is just to break the monotony and just to update you guys a little.

I'll be leaving, either tomorrow or Saturday, to Malacca.

If you've read one of my 30DAM posts, you'd know why.

I may or may not be able to get some WiFi connection at my aunt's place so I'll have to see what I can do about this project.

Will be back in KL next Thursday, 16th Dec, cause that's when my brother is arriving from the UK! :D

And after that, I will be pretty much busy getting a lot of things done (especially preparing for school).

Oh and, I'm really excited for school!

Lots of renovation going on in school, for those of you taking SPM or those going to school to buy books, you should have seen all the renovation.

They're renovating the badminton hall, the 4th floor, and repainting the buildings!

Great way to kick start the new school year :)

It's OVER! Now we shall all just wait in anticipation for the results. Pretty tough, but we expected a challenge from the moment we handed in the cheque for the exam fees.Had a mentally exhausting day trying my best for all the 4 written papers.

Yet another day gone by.Soon, we'll be back to school again! Honestly, I'm excited for school 2011.
I think it's probably because I still do not feel the holiday mood(mum thinks it's because I still have my ESOL papers)?Maybe it's because next year will be our last year in high school? Not so sure, but all I do know is that I can't wait for school!
Oh well, on to today's task. 30 Days About Myself project.
Day 09 – Something you’re proud of in the past few days
Hmm, let's see what I've done in the past few days. Beginning Monday?Actually, I was in Bukit Gambang Resort City, Pahang, for a short trip with my family.Spent the whole Monday in the water park having tons of fun with my siblings and my little cousin! Got back to KL on Tuesday, and today's Wednesday!
The only thing I can say I'm proud of is that for the past few days, I haven't been obsessing over Tom Felton! Oh wait, does hearing all his songs on repeat all the way from KL to Pahang count as being obsessed? Hahaha I kid. I still think he's amazing though!
Annnnyways, tomorrow's the day! The ESOL CPE written exams. Will be painfully trying my hardest to score for the whole thing which will end at 4.25 pm ): & will be coming home to a piano class, packing, and going off again!

Hmm, I wouldn't say that I do not have ANY goals at all for this month, but I wouldn't exactly call these goals. Things I want to do this month(almost half of it is already over):

Do well for the written part of the CPE test
I really want to get an A for this. Considering my oral test did not go too well, I've got to buck up for this part so that I can (hopefully) get an A!
Work with my aunt for a week
Gonna make Kuih Kapits aka Love Letters for CNY. She's been making them for years now, so anyone wants to order? Contact me :)
Spend the rest of the month with my family (Brother will be back from the UK!)
It's only a matter of time before high school ends and I leave for college so I've got to make the moments last!
Buy an external flash for my camera
Revise Chemistry
Why? If I don't, I'm going to suffer for the rest of next year.
Become a better person.
Now, this is a goal. I haven't been much of a nice person throughout the year, so I want to work on this. Any tips for me?

Day 06 – Favorite super hero and why
Hmmmmm, this is pretty challenging.I've never really been a fan of superheroes. The only ones I can think of right now are, Superman, Batman, Spiderman, Catwoman, The Fantastic Four, Wonderwoman, The Incredibles, Hellboy (is he a super hero?), Supergirl, Robin..
So yeah.. See, I'm not good at superheroes.If I were to pick one out of that list, I'd pick.. Hellboy(assuming that he IS a superhero)!
Why?I just think that he stands out above the other superheroes. I'm not looking at super powers (technically, I think Hellboy has no super powers other than his rock hard body and his size and strength).

A demon, raised from infancy after being conjured by and rescued from the Nazis, grows up to become a defender against the forces of darkness.

He didn't get a spider bite to become Hellboy, he wasn't exposed to a sort of cosmic ray in space to get 'super powers'!

&&& Hellboy was one hell of a cool film!

Just got back from watching The Chronicles of Narnia : The Voyage of the Dawn Treader in Pavilion.

Oh, by the ways! I'll be off for a short short trip with my family, just a little break I guess.. Will leave tomorrow morning and will be back on Tuesday.

Day 05 – A picture of somewhere you’ve been to

Trust me, I had a hard time picking a picture :/

I didn't want to put a picture of a place that is too common.. neither did I want to put a picture of a place that nobody has heard of before.

This is my pick, taken last year.

Lucerne, Switzerland

One of the most wonderful places I've been to.

I went to Europe with my family and some friends during winter last year and the whole thing was a really amazing experience for me. An eye-opener it was, to the true feeling of wanderlust.

I fell in love with Europe within the two weeks I was there!

Lucerne is beautiful. The city, the sights, the mountains!

& The people in Lucerne were the funnest, and most cheeky. Definitely great to be around with.

We were looking at some watches when my mummy asked one of them about the designs.

"Which is the latest?"

He simply winked and replied, "Me."

We went up the snowy mountains and I swear, I nearly cried.
I just couldn't believe that something so beautiful could be so real.
It was a stunning view from the top, looking at the snow-capped mountains in the company of your loved ones.
One of the greatest and most beautiful things I've ever seen with my very own eyes.

Day 04 – A habit that you wish you didn’t have

I am very sure of this now.
Procrastination.

I think I'm the greatest procrastinator in the world! Seriously, I can be wanting to do this thing and what do you know? The next second, I'll get distracted by something else, and push that task to 'I'll do it tomorrow morning'. Come 'tomorrow morning', I'll be going like 'Oh, I'll do it after lunch' and by the end of the day, nothing gets done! ):

I need to fix this.

P/S: Sister and I just installed Sims3 on the computer! Yay :D

Hi guys! Had a great day out today with my friends to celebrate Didier's birthday!
Watched 'The Social Network' and had an awesome day! :)
Got home pretty late, cause my mum wanted to have dinner at Gardens. Came home, planned to go catch Narnia at KLCC at 10.45.Plan failed, cause there was some sort of complication while we were trying to purchase tickets online. No matter, we're planning to go watch it on Saturday :)
Anyways, this is my next post for the 30 Days About Myself. Almost forgot! ALMOST!

I'm such a Photojojo addict these days.If you've read my previous post and checked it(Photojojo) out, you'd know that there are tons of fun ideas for photography over there!So, yeah I was browsing yesterday, and I made 2 Kaleidocycles.
It is such an amazing invention. Very fun to make and fun to share with others as well! The best part of it is seeing the amazement in others when you show them your very own Kaleidocycle.
I made 2 in quite a rush yesterday, managed to make them successfully but not a very neat job. I actually have some pictures and videos of it but I can't upload them right now.

Day 02 – The meaning behind your Blogger name
My Blogger name? Assuming 'Blogger name' refers to my username or something like that (because I don't want to assume that 'Blogger name' is my URL (because my URL is so boring (but that's because I bought this domain and I wouldn't want to be so fickle over the choices so I made it simple(omg too many brackets in a bracket)), mine's 'britksy'.
Hmmmm, maybe those of you who know me personally will know what 'britksy' means. I've had this, as I would call it, 'universal internet username', since I was 9, I think.
Back in the year 2003.We were learning how to create email accounts and use them to send our computer projects to the teacher.So, the email account was the first time 'britksy' existed. Everyone was thinking of a cool email address at that time! But honestly, what we considered cool at that moment would not be so appropriate for our age now.. Anyways, there were usernames like dragonmaster1994 or cutiepuppy1994 or simply your full name. Something with 'cute', 'dog', or the year 1994 (ie. the year I was born in).
It took me quite some time to find this username. I was talking to my mum one day, about how frustrating it is to find something special, without having those elements mentioned above or without exposing my full name in my email address.
So, she suggested, why not 'britksy'? And not much different from all of you who do not know what it means, I asked her too! Turns out, it's not that difficult to guess and I thought that.. yeah, that's quite okay.So that's how 'britksy' existed.And ever since then, I've set up countless social-networking site accounts with the username 'britksy', game characters with the username 'britksy', and basically anything which required a username!
On to what 'britksy' actually is.No, it's not 'britsky' as many people may pronounce or misread it. 'britksy' is basically my name.
